Molygran's Action Against Coronavirus
20th March 2020

We were hoping to be able to hold off on addressing Coronavirus here at Molygran, however as the situation pogresses and governmental advice continues to develop, we feel we need to take our own actions here to help contain the spread of this virus.

We have shared the below with our customers and would like our followers to know what steps we are taking to ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers.

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Dear Valued Customer,

Molygran are happy to report we are operating as normal with no reported cases of Covid-19 amongst our workforce. Molygran are working hard to ensure business continuity and the protection of all our employees, suppliers and customers.  The evidence shows this is a highly contagious virus and additional procedures are required to prevent the spread around our local community.

The safety of our employees, suppliers and customers remains our number one priority and we are continuing to closely follow the advice of Bury Means Business Website, Public Health England, the UK Government and the Growth Hub. We have introduced several measures to enhance our safety and ensure the virus is contained, including:

  • Additional in-house hygiene measures including increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of regularly used surfaces
  • Increased hand washing for all staff and visitors, additional soap and hand towels have been provided at all washing locations.
  • External visitors are only allowed access onto site after completing and signing a statement stating they have not been to any of the high risk countries in the last 14 days or knowingly been in contact with any person with COVID-19.
  • Participating in external events, meetings, conferences, seminars and training courses have been postponed.
  • Precautionary measures on raw materials are monitored and conducted daily with our suppliers.

In all cases we are guided by the advice from Public Health Authorities, NHS and Her Majesty’s Government. These policies will evolve as the situation develops.

Ongoing service to our customers is paramount. Our business continuity plans incorporate measures to maintain safe operations and the integrity of our infrastructure, facilities and operations under a variety of potential scenarios.

At the same time as continuing our complete service, we are committed to ensuring that the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers remains at the forefront of our thoughts.

Should you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hoping the above meets with your approval and assuring you of our best attention always. Stay safe and look after one another.

Yours sincerely,

Keith Fairhurst
Managing Director

We sincerely hope you are all keeping safe and well and we look forward to when normality can resume.

We thank you all for your cooperation in this truly difficult time.
