Reflecting on 2022: A Year of Change and Celebration

As the year draws to a close, we take a moment to reflect on the events of 2022—a year marked by profound loss, joyful beginnings, and spirited celebrations.

A Nation Mourns

September brought a wave of sorrow across the nation with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Her loss was deeply felt, as she had been a steadfast symbol of grace, duty, and continuity for decades. Her legacy will undoubtedly endure for generations to come, and her absence leaves a void in the hearts of many.

New Beginnings and Fond Farewells

In November, we bid farewell to our beloved Emily as she embarked on her maternity leave. The office atmosphere is noticeably quieter without the cheerful chaos of her dog Sky barking happily at every visitor. Emily’s departure was bittersweet, yet it was coupled with the heartwarming news of the birth of her beautiful daughter—a fourth-generation member of the Eastham family destined to join the Molygran legacy.

October also welcomed a fresh face to our team, Vicky, who has seamlessly integrated as our customers’ first point of contact. Her enthusiasm and dedication have already made a positive impact, and we are thrilled to have her aboard.

Creativity and Community Spirit

Our team embraced creativity and community spirit with open arms this year. In November, we had the delight of hosting Pudsey, whose playful antics in the office and warehouse brought smiles to our faces and raised awareness for Children in Need. December saw the arrival of a festive little elf for Elf Day, helping us contribute to the Alzheimer’s Society’s mission by dressing up and spreading cheer.

Festive Transformations

As December rolled in, our factory transformed into a vibrant Christmas Warehouse. The air was filled with festive cheer as candy canes, angels, and a sea of colourful Christmas jumpers adorned our workplace. The spirit of Christmas was alive and well, uniting us all in celebration and camaraderie.

As we prepare to welcome the new year, we carry forward the memories and lessons of 2022. It has been a year of change, growth, and unity, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunities and challenges that 2023 will bring.
